Our cedarwood bar is made with castor oil, palm oil, flax seed oil, kokum butter, sesame seed oil, sunflower seed oil, perilla oil, beef tallow, palm kernel oil, sodium lactate, sodium hydroxide (lye), mica color, and distilled water.

Benefits of the oils - 

Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, it penetrates deeply and locks in hydration. It has anti-inflammatory & antimicrobial properties that help soothe irritated skin and fights acne. Castor oil may support elasticity and reduce fine lines. 

Palm oil contains coenzyme Q10 and beta-carotene for improved elasticity and texture. It has soothing properties that may help with eczema and UV protection. Palm oil is rich in vitamin E which helps fight oxidative stress and signs of aging. 

Flaxseed oil is rich in ALA which helps reduce inflammation and support skin barrier. It has hydrating & soothing properties that helps softens fine lines and calms irritation. Flaxseed helps protect against free radical damage and promotes healing. 

Kokum butter is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants like garcinol and ursolic acid. It has skin regeneration properties that help promote healing of dry, cracked, or inflamed skin. Kokum butter helps maintain hydration and elasticity. 

Sesame seed oil helps retain hydration and soothe dry skin. It offers mild sun-blocking properties. Sesame seed oil has anti-inflammatory properties which is great for acne prone or irritated skin. 

Sunflower seed oil helps with eczema, wounds, and dry skin. It has vitamin E & linoleic acid which strengthens skin barrier and reduces inflammation. Sunflower seed oil has antioxidant protection properties that help fight premature aging and environmental damage. 

Perilla oil is rich in omega-3 (ALA) which calms inflammation and supports skin barrier. It contains rosemarinic acid and flavones to fight aging and pigmentation. Perilla oil helps retain moisture and improve elasticity. 

Beef tallow contains A,D,E,K & B12 for skin repair and elasticity. It may soothe irritation and promote healing. Beef tallow seals in moisture and may help with eczema or psoriasis.
